How does your body function when parts are missing?  Poorly.  How does your body function when parts are diseased or injured?  Not as well as it should.  And how would your body function if the parts were seperated one from another?  It wouldn't function at all.  When the Body of Christ is divided, seperated, it means we can't be what we were intended to be, or do what we are intended to do.

Bridge Ministries exists to bring the Body of Christ together across all the things that seperate and divide us, so that, together, we can help to bring about the spiritual, social, and physical transformation God desires for our community, our nation, and our world.

Bridges bring people together.  They unite what is divided.  They cross over obstacles that separate.  God built the greatest and most important bridge ever in sending Jesus to earth to suffer and die- opening the way, a bridge back to God.  We are to build bridges between the people of God, across the things that divide us, so that together, we can more effectively get lost people on God’s Bridge.
