It is now JULY! How did that happen? So it's time for me to update our prayer requests, and praise reports. Thanks again for your prayer support of what we do. If ever you wonder about the efficacy or importance of prayer, read E. M. Bounds. What we do is Kingdom work, and with out concerted, determined, passionate prayer, it will fail. So when I say thanks, I really mean it. And when I plead for your prayers, it is with a sense of deep need.
THANKS AND PRAISE
- for wonderful ways that the larger Church is getting together and working together with great effect- i.e. Sharefest, Rockford Partners for Excellence, the Christian emphasis team at the YMCA
- for another excellent BMOR board retreat in May- good sharing, good ideas, strong conviction of the rightness of our mission and vision
- for continued favor and opened doors in the community and with community leaders and church leaders
- for God's faithful provision for our needs for over 17 years
PLEASE PRAY
- for the Solemn Assembly July 3, 9am to 8pm in the Sinnissippi bandshell. A time for prayer, worship, fasting, repentance. For all the logistics, for the leadership, for humility, for true repentance, for people to come and join in, for God to use this.
- for God to help us establish a regular time of prayer for the ministry of BMOR, and find a person to head that up
- for the personal needs of our board members, prayer team members, and support team members
- for an end to building our own ministry fiefdoms, and humbly submit to one another, and to building the Kingdom of God
- for the leaders of our city to deal with the problems we face with justice and righteousness
- for momentum to build in our various "bridge building" projects
- for the young leaders in the church to be encouraged and equipped for their work
- for a strong financial base for our ministry

A bridge builders prayer
Dear Jesus,
We thank you that you love us more than we can know or understand. We thank you that your love built a bridge, through your death and resurrection, to our Father in heaven and our eternal home. We are bound together in our love for you.
Please help us to be bridge builders too, for the Body of Christ- the Church. Let your love and Spirit in us work to build bridges between all creeds, cultures, races, and groups. So that we will be be a clear reminder that we are all one in the family of God. We ask this in Your Holy Name. Amen
